10 things you should do every day!

Lately I’ve started watching videos on Youtube about healthy food or anything like that and I kind of wanted to improve my everyday lifestyle. This is why I got the idea to give you a list with things you should do every day, so I can use it too. Although of course you mustn’t do anything, so pick the ones you like!

Eat and drink healthier

This is so important, because food and drinks actually are the foundation of life. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t eat any chocolate or cookies anymore, but just replace it sometimes with fruit or anything healthy. This is much easier than a whole diet. Eating healthy also has many benefits, for example, it combats diseases

Longer nights

Sleep is necessary for your brain. Your brain needs some sleep to process your emotions and so it’s ready for whatever happens next. If you’re going to make really short nights, it might be amazing for a while, but you’ll cope with more negative emotions and it’s going to be hard to focus.

Communicate

You can give someone a compliment, ask how their day was or be with your friends and have some fun. The first two things are great for the person in front of you, but don’t forget the third one! You can’t keep giving without taking.

Go outside

It’s very calming to be outside. Take a walk with your dog or just a regular walk and when you come home, your brain will probably be cleaner than it was before.

Dress better

If you don’t care about your outfit, you can skip this one. I’ve learned that when I feel pretty in clothes, my mood will increase immediately. You’ll feel more confident in your clothes, and others will see that.

Take your time

Charlotte Bronte describes this one perfectly with a quote: ”A ruffled mind makes a restless pillow.” When something is not going very well, don’t try to push your thoughts away and move on. Think about it and find a way to solve the problems in your head. For example, you can write your thoughts and solutions down or ask for someone’s advice, because they have an other point of view.

Exercice

It’s only a second of your time and it will improve your life so quickly. Of course, there are sports you need to pay for, but you also can run in a park or download a workout app for free. What’s holding you back?

Clean

Take a shower, wash your face, clean your room: there are so many ways to check this one off. It’s up to you which one you choose.

No phone time

When you’re with friends or family, don’t go on your phone. You’ll have plenty of time at home and after all, what’s more important to you: your phone or your family and friends?

Music

I don’t know how I would survive in a world without music, so this is why music is also on the list. When you’re sad, you can listen to happy music to boost up your mood or you can listen to sad music to process and finish off your negative thoughts.
